Harbor Lap Xuong

Fresh Chinese sausages are so bomb! The look and taste just like the California Sausage Inc ones; even the packaging are very similar. Maybe, they are made from the same manufacturers and with just different distributors. $7 a pack and they come in either chicken or pork (the better one), spicy (mild) or regular.

While I have never been to the actual location of Harbor Sausage, I have eaten a lot of their sausages! I have been able to find them at almost every Asian market I have gone too... even here in Tampa, Fl (MD Oriental stocks them!). They are yummy, whether you grill them, fry them, bake them, boil them or smoke them. Sweet and yummy! Great for stir fry's!

Who doesn't love chinese sausages? I have been purchasing these whenever I find them in grocery stores.

I also appreciate that they have spicy flavored sausages. I tend to buy a lot to send to family in other states.

Be careful buying from other competitors, since they have the same packaging. I ALWAYS check that it is Harbor Sausage.

Nice little shop on Harbor Boulevard that just happens to sell some Lap Xuong aka Asian sausages. My family usually like it in the fried rice or some times just plain rice in general. Lap Xuong is really oily and seems overly fattening but at this location is not as bad as other places. The shop is really clean. The product comes out fresh. Thats what they specialize here so if you are ever in need of some lap xuong then this is the place I recommend.

The owners are pretty nice and efficient. There are no store hours from what I can tell. Usually when I go on the weekends it just happens to be open but I've been in the area before when it would just look absolutely vacant.

Overall its the place to go for lap xuong. Don't even bother with super markets or other spots in Bolsa because this is probably one of my favorite places to get it. Not only that but its so conveniently located near me. You can pretty much use lap xuong for anything. Rice, noodles, eat with eggs, eat by itself. Its a great complimentary item.

The sausage is amazing! Freshly made and it taste great! Taste good by itself as well as adding to other foods such as Vietnamese spring rolls and rice.

Hands down best lap xuong I've ever tasted. They're sweet, less oily, and crunchier than the other brands I've tried. I was down in the OC area last weekend to visit my relatives, and tried some with fried rice. I loved it, and asked them the brand. The next day we went and bought 6 packs of Harbor lap xuong to take back to the Bay Area. We've been looking around the Asian markets in my area, but can't find them anywhere ugh. Guess we're gonna have to call up our relatives to buy us some once we run out LOL

I am from Hawaii and make specific effort to bring Harbor Sausage back for family and friends. You need to call to make sure that it's open to place your order, they happened to be open on a Sunday and was even alright with waiting for me to show up at a specific time. This sausage is better than the ones sold at CVS Longs or Walmart, ie. ones made in Canada. This is the best sausage that I've found to make rice jung in my rice cooker, fried rice, steamed, or stir fried with green veggies. Check it out if you're in California. It's worth the trip to visit them in person because this Harbor Sausage is fresh and the taste is excellent.

My family has been buying Lap Xuong (Chinese sausages) from here for over a year now. I would suggest going early in the morning because I think they close earlier than most businesses and they probably ship them out to restaurants as well. They make the sausages fresh in the back! They sell them in both chicken and pork and they even have a spicy option as well. My family always buys the spicy pork because it's the tastiest. It's not that spicy but it has a little kick to it. I have even seen them sold in supermarkets so I rather just buy them straight from the source! It's $6.50 each and they are bigger/fresher than all of the other brands we have tried. Our favorite to go in our fried rice and other dishes!
